Creating a custom boutonniere works much the same way as the corsages - only simpler! Read all the steps and decide what you'd like - and write it down! Then call us (570)374-4923 to place your order or visit the shop to see all the options in person. Our experienced staff will help you decide on the right options for you.
Step 1: Choose Your Flowers
For a boutonniere, we normally recommend either one large flower or two - three smaller flowers. Roses are by far the most popular, but carnations, daisies, alstroemeria, orchids, and calla lilies are all options. Additional choices of flowers may be available, and will vary by season. Please just ask if there's something you're looking for that you do not see listed here.
Step 2: Choose Your Stem Wrap & Extras
Wrapping the stem of a boutonniere is a great way to add some extra color. In the simplest boutonnière, the stem is wrapped in green tape. For a small additional charge, the stem can be wrapped with ribbon, wire, or a combination of both. We have a large ribbon display board that you can use to choose your ribbons. If you bring a swatch with you to the shop, we will try to match it as closely as possible. But because our selection is so vast and quantities of some styles are limited, if you order over the phone, we will select a ribbon for you. Wire is available in multiple colors. Please ask a sales associate to discuss all the options.
We offer a variety of different embellishments, including rhinestones, feathers, pearl sprays, wire twists, and more. Some options are pictured on the custom corsage page or stop in the store to see our entire selection of extras.
